A varied role supporting IT in the CIMPA office and also supporting our main client in the Data Exchange team.

Office support role:

  • Maintaining IT inventory

Data Exchange role:

  • The PLM-DM Supporter is in charge of:-
  • Working on automatic/manual processes within DEX (Data EXchange)
  • Progressing the requirements of current and future project initiatives
  • Carrying Data Exchange with NatCos and Suppliers
  • Monitoring a number of PLM applications/interfaces
  • Monitoring the incoming and assignment of Incidents and Requests
  • Analysing incidents and performing root cause analysis and triggering appropriate corrective actions
  • Performing basic administrative tasks within PLM toolset

Skills: 

Ability to develop good working relationships in the office generally and particularly within the Dex team locally and trnasnationally, Ditto for the transnational IT team (France, Germany).

Confident, able to explain issues and how to solve them with internal customers

Drive to solve issues that arrise to the customer's satisfaction

Fluent English both written and spoken
Working experience of common M/S Office tools
Understanding of CAD Data formats (Catia V4, Catia V5, IGS)
An interest in problem solving

Good team-working and communication skills
Self motivated and well organised

 

 

Optional skills:

Some knowledge of PDM applications, methods and processes
Some knowledge of PLM Toolsets
Understanding of Product Structures and bills of material
Experience on UNIX environment
Understanding of data formats (ZIP, Tar etc)
Basic scripting skills
Database knowledge (Oracle SQL)"
