CIMPA Ltd is working with one of the leading aerospace OEMs. We urgently require a well-seasoned UK Sales Account Manager, to support the technical team in providing a world class service to our aerospace customers.  The holder of this position will primarily support our existing Civil Aircraft customer in Bristol, with a regular input to their Broughton support requirements. They will be also responsible for acquiring new customers, working with our technical teams to achieve the sales quota, and for expanding and identifying new prospects for growth.

KEY REPONSIBILITIES:
You will lead the delivery of the business development plan for the UK in line with the global strategic plan defined by your Global Account Director, who is based in France. Ultimately you will be part of a transnational team, so travel should be expected and secondary / tertiary languages would be an advantage.
You will work closely with the specialists and experts in the UK and transnationally to jointly identify and then achieve contracts with the customer, building strong internal business relationships and nurturing new client relationships to establish long-term relationships.
The development of complex offers with a high order value and multi-year term are also part of your area of responsibility. With your well-founded technical and sales background, you will manage the technical quotation process, the processing of customer inquiries, calculations, forecasts as well as ensuring cost-effectiveness.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
As an experienced Sales Account Manager, you will have proven experience of sales successes and a well-developed customer network within Engineering, Manufacturing and Information System / PLM domains. A good knowledge of the competitive landscape and the local PLM eco-system are required.
In particular, you will have:
• An engineering background, ideally both a bachelors’ / masters’ degree in Aerospace or mechanical engineering (or equivalent), plus experience of complex and long-term selling process within the service provision arena
• An outstanding ability to establish and build personal, internal and client relationships with integrity
• Excellent understanding of technical aspects, particularly in the field of PLM, Engineering and Manufacturing domains
• Proven sales success in aerospace or in large industrial accounts as well as a good network at senior levels of existing / potential customers
• Accomplished commercial acumen and business development skills
• Leadership mindset, emotional intelligence and presence, with a ‘can-do’ attitude to resolving issues, in order to eliminate obstacles through creative and adaptive approaches
• Both a strategic and tactical player in the business, with a ‘hands-on’ approach, demonstrating a high level of self-motivation and drive, with a solutions-oriented and methodical way of working.
